Sheet and View naming issues

My fellow Revit blogger (Hoc Cad Solutions) has an interesting little post on the problems in using doggie characters in view or sheet names.

Something to add to it is, (and test this out for yourself) if you put a . (dot) or a / (forward slash) in a sheet or view name when you export it to AutoCAD it will change the dot orforward slash to a – (dash).

So a good practice is if you need to use any characters to break up your naming use a – (dash) and it won’t give you any problems.

Many other characters will give you this error.
